Cancel through the available provider or support before renewal. Paid access generally continues to the end of the current period. Refunds are reviewed under the payment-channel rules, applicable law, and the facts of the charge.
Free plan and Paddle Checkout
The Free plan has no subscription charge. A paid plan begins only after Paddle Checkout completes and LabRat receives a verified Paddle subscription event.
Paid periods and renewal
LabRat does not offer a trial period. The price, monthly billing period, currency, taxes, and renewal terms shown in Paddle Checkout apply to the subscription. A paid plan starts immediately after checkout and renews automatically until canceled.
EEA consumer withdrawal period
If you are an EEA consumer purchasing at a distance, you generally have 14 days from conclusion of the service contract to withdraw without giving a reason. Use Paddle Customer Portal or email support with a clear withdrawal statement, account email, transaction reference, and purchase date.
If you expressly request performance during the withdrawal period, a lawful proportionate charge may apply for service already supplied. The withdrawal right ends after full performance only where applicable law permits and you expressly consented to early performance and acknowledged the consequence. For immediate digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, checkout must obtain the separate prior consent and acknowledgement required before the right can be lost.
How to cancel
Use the billing control offered by the payment provider or contact LabRat support with the account email, workspace, plan, and provider. Submit the request before the next renewal. Unless the checkout terms or applicable law require otherwise, cancellation prevents the next charge and access continues until the paid period ends.
Refund requests
Except where required by law or the payment channel, fees for a started billing period are generally non-refundable because digital service capacity becomes available immediately. LabRat will review duplicate charges, unauthorized charges, billing errors, a paid service that was not activated, and other exceptional circumstances.
Ask promptly after discovering the issue. Include the account email, workspace, provider, charge date, amount and currency, transaction reference if available, and a short explanation. Do not send complete card or bank details.
App stores and external providers
A charge made by Apple, Google Play, Paddle, or another provider may need to be canceled or refunded through that provider. Its purchase terms and statutory refund process control the transaction. LabRat support can help identify the route but cannot override a provider decision.
Failed, reversed, or disputed charges
A failed or reversed charge may leave the workspace on the previous plan, restrict paid features, or end access after notice. Before opening a payment dispute, contact support so a duplicate, activation, or provider issue can be investigated. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may result in suspension.
Account deletion and billing
Deleting a LabRat account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by an app store or external provider. Cancel the billing route first or ask support to confirm it. Limited transaction records may be retained for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal obligations after account deletion.
